Happy Thanksgiving

I’m partial to ham myself but this year we’ll be roasting a bird. I hope it’s not one of his relatives. Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is meant to convey
Our thanks with a bountiful day.
It’s the briefest of pause
Before Santa Claus
And Christmas come sweep it away.
